The start of this year has been a little hectic and my brain needed a bit of breathing space so the Friday Five took an unexpected pause - but we are back!

Below are a selection of five pieces which have caught my eye this week and why...

 

1. STRIPED PUFF SLEEVE SHIRT

You can't go wrong with a striped shirt and I think this Navy one will look super smart for the office paired with some tailored trousers or as good dressed down for the weekend. I love the different directions of the stripes adding some interest and it has a button at the back so you can cinch it in slightly to create a different dimension which I also love the look of. I have this one on it's way to me as we speak. 

 

2. BLACK BARREL LEG TROUSERS

A barrel leg has become a firm favourtie and as we head into spring and temperatures rise, we can start to get the ankles out again. I think a cropped barrel leg is a cool shape and super comfy. You can dress this pair up as above for the office to wear with a pair of trainers and a jumper for the weekend. These are a great price point as well.

 

3. BLUE FLORAL DRESS

Wedding season is fast approachine and this dress is giving ethereal vibes. Very elegant, I really like the asymmetric neckline and the drape over the shoulder. I personally wouldn't style it with black shoes, I think it would be better with white or metallic - softer tones for me fit better with this style of dress. 

 

4. SUN KNITTED TOP

Well if this doesn't scream I'm ready for summer I'm not sure what does! Now I know we are a little way off but I am slowly preparing and I came across this knitted top and couldn't not include it immediatley. I love the colours, the shape and it would go so well alongside and Aperol Spritz!!
This is a beach to bar top - time to buy the top and book the flights I think...

 

5. MARZO RING

I love a cocktail ring and this one really caught my eye. I love the unique shape and the colour of the green. Sometimes it's not about changing what you wear but adding in accessories to give outfits and different look and feel. This is a very fun ring which will certainly add some pizzazz to your outfit.
