Half Term Getaway: Cyprus

We are now officially in the middle of Autumn and it really does feel like it!

However don't panic - there are still places you can escape to which aren't too far away and will give you that much needed burst of warm air and Vitamin D so....our suggestion for your half term getaway this year is Cyprus.

With temperatures averaging 27°C you will be very happy lying by the pool, going to the beach but also exploring the local area.

So here are our tips on where to stay, what to do and of course, what to wear...

Where To Stay

Anassa Hotel

Perched on the cliff's edge, Anassa lies on the west coast of Cyprus in unspoilt surroundings on the Akamas peninsula. Located just a few steps from the beach, a five minute drive to the little town of Latchi and only 45 minutes from Paphos Airport, this is the perfect autumn escape for the family. 

What To Do

With so many facilities to keep you entertained at the hotel, there really is no need to leave. From swimming in the pools or playing tennis to the extensive range of watersports on offer, there really are plenty of activities to keep you busy. OR if you are in need to a bit of relaxation there is of course the Thalassa Spa where you can book tailor-made treatments to help you unwind. And even better...whilst you are unwinding, there is a kid's club to keep all the children entertained!

However, if being in one place for a whole week makes you feel a bit claustrophobic, don't panic - there is plenty to do and see without having to travel to far.

It is definitely recommended to visit the fishing village of Latchi. The harbour-side restaurants are perfect for cosy suppers, while rambling nature walks take you up into the pretty countryside, and the quiet beach means plenty of uninterrupted lazing.
