The Friday Five 018

With a heatwave for a day on Wednesday, all I can think about is summer - floaty clothes, light layers and pops of colour. I ordered the shoes for myself as I think they'll be fun to dress up a pair of jeans but they are yet to arrive so I will report back. Meantime, here are the pieces which caught my eye this week.

1. LORA SCALLOPED TUNIC

Morton Mac - £151

Aussie brands do it so well and Morton Mac is no exception. This is a brand I recently came across and have totally fallen in love with all of it. Really easy to wear clothes with a feminie edge. This powder blue it such a gorgeous colour and the shirt would be perfect just chucked over a bikini or easily dressed up for dinner. 

2. SATIN POINTED KITTEN HEELS

M&S - £40

I couldn't resist these - I want to wear heels more and feel this will be great to dress up jeans. They are yet to arrive so I will report back. I'm obviously having a moment for blue too!

3. MADDIE PLEATED COTTON VOILE MIDI SKIRT

Hush - £90

A white midi skirt is a great staple for spring/summer. Can be worn to work or the beach. A super versatile piece and one you will definitely be bringing out year after year. I like the pleats on this one adding a little bit more structure to the skirt but without making it too dressy. 

4. CREAM WOVEN SHOULDER BAG

Anthropologie - £88

Woven bags are all over the place and I'm not mad about it. I really like this style. A cream leather is perfect for spring/summer and this is a great middle size bag - perfect for everyday. 

5. PROTECTIVE HAND PENDANT NECKLACE

Talis Chains - £150
