This weeks Friday finds includes two new brands I have recently come across and a few timeless staples.
1. PETRA OVERSIZED LEATHER JACKET
Reiss - £498
In spring time a black leather jacket can sometimes feel too harsh but with the British weather, let's not kid ourselves - we often need relatively thick layers to keep us warm even in the spring/summer months. I love an oversized jacket and although this is on the more expensive side, I really do think a jacket like this is worth the investment as it will last for years.
2. BLACK LINEN JUMPSUIT
Second Summer - £280
They got their audience totally right when they advertised this jumpsuit to me. I love a linen jumpsuit and this is a great shape. A jumpsuit is about the easiest piece to chuck on and look put together with minimal effort. Wear it with trainers during the day or dress it up with some heels and jewellery for the evening. Again a great staple piece.
3. VERBENA VEST
Byan - £145
I love Spain and Spanish style so was excited to come across a new Spanish brand which has popped up in London. These vests stood out to me - different from anything I have seen recently and again one you can easily dress up or down. The cropped style is flattering and I think this particular vest would look great with some light wash jeans for the day or a darker colour for more of an evening look.
4. COTTON BRODERIE SHIRT
M&S - £55
This style of shirt has been around for a while now and I don't see it going anywhere yet. A classic white shirt is super versatile and I love the colour on this one. It's very Sezane vibes at a fraction of the cost.
5. RED WOVEN FLATS
River Island - £34
I am in my pump era - well looking and working out which to actually buy as I want them all. I love red and think these are very cute and an affordable option if you want to dip your toe into this style of shoe.
