The Friday Five 015

This week I have been drawn to floaty dresses, spring colours and bags that will work better in the spring summer season. I love a woven bag and the green is fun - a little different but still super versatile in this shade. 

1. REVE DES JARDINS FLORAL DRESS

Dôen - £425

Dôen are known for their gorgeous silouttes and beautiful prints. The shapes of their dresses are super flattering and I constanlty have my eye on at least one of them. The price point is high, but I do think if you invest, it will be a dress you will wear year after year, and will work just as well by the beach as they do in the city. 

2. KHAKI/CREAM SMOCKED TOP

This top has caught my eye on numerous occasions - it's a great shape, I love the rouching on the sleeves as well as the body of the top. It would look great with white trousers as styled here, with light or dark jeans. It's also a top that will work well in all seasons.

4. BLACK MAXI SUNDRESS

You can't go wrong with a black dress and this is very good chuck on and go number that you will still look put together in. Pair it with some chunky jewellery to dress it up or keep it simple for a day time look. Would look great with heels as well as flats too. 

5. BRAIDED BALLET FLATS

I haven't bought into the braided flat trend yet and I think this is the year for me. I am always hesitant to jump on a trend until I have seen it tried and tested and whether it is just that - a trend - or a style that will last longer. And with this braided style, I think it is here to stay and one that again, I will wear a lot. Into a brown and think this style of shoe will work as well with trousers as it will with dresses and skirts.
