The Friday Five 001

The weather has definitely turned cooler this week and there’s a real autumnal feel in the air. Naturally, it’s had me eyeing up a few pieces to make that tricky seasonal transition a little easier. Top of my list right now is a cream pair of jeans - I’m on the hunt for the perfect pair. These Mint Velvet ones are strong contenders as I’m tempted to try the barrel leg shape too.

As for footwear, I couldn’t resist going back to an old favourite. I wore my black leather Tamaris boots nonstop last year, so this season I added the brown suede version to the mix - I’m sure they’re going to get just as much wear.

When it comes to staples, you really can’t go wrong with a boxy shirt. I love the cropped length on this one - it’s one of those useful pieces you’ll reach for again and again. The Hush trousers are another great find - a smarter alternative to a tracksuit, easy to dress up or down while still feeling incredibly comfortable. And finally, I’m having a bit of a moment with cashmere tees. This one is elevated by the button detail, which adds just the right touch of femininity to an otherwise timeless style.
